"My 2002 Ford Ranger died while I was on the way home from work due to an alternator failure. A Google search brought up Sam's Auto Repair and Body Shop. I managed to get my battery charged enough to get it to their facility.
They gave me a free inspection, and worked tirelessly to ensure that I would get my truck back when I needed it. On top of that, they gave me a student discount and fixed an issue with my door free of charge! I will definitely be recommending Sam's to anyone who asks and would not hesitate to go back should something else happen to my truck in the future. You would be hard pressed to find a better repair shop in Evanston!"
"I came in thinking my transmission was broken. Sammy lifted up my car and explained it was a spark plug that was damaged. I have gone to other mechanics who told me I needed to replace my entire transmission and the cost of that was so bad I was just about to buy a new car. "My 2009 Toyota Matrix ha sustained minor body damage: dented and scuffed left rear (plastic) bumper; damaged, scuffed, and loosened front bumper (right side); protective cover inside front right wheel well torn from one attachment point; two very small paint scratches on hood.
Sam gave me an estimate promptly and without my having made an appointment. As the work was to be self-pay, I emphasized the need for economy and sufficient repair, not factory-grade restoration. Sam agreed to repair the scuffed and dented rear bumper and to reattach both the wheel well lining and the right front bumper that kept popping loose for $425, a very reasonable price.
When I picked the car up I was amazed to see both the high quality of the work Sam agreed to do, and the amount of extra work he did for almost no additional charge: he made all the bumper scuffs virtually invisible, expertly repaired the dented rear bumper, fixed all the paint scratches (not just the two I had pointed out), and thoroughly cleaned, not just vacuumed, the interior.
On all counts, Sam gets a rave review from me."

"Guys are great. I got into a bad accident a few days out. My car had a really bad rear end collision. I cam to Sunny because someone handed me a card after the accident. I am glad they did he was great. He worked out a rental with hertz had my car in the shop and fixed right away. Within a matter of days I was able to get everything ready and had my car back .
